Global equity indexes are mostly trading higher currently after US stocks ended mixed on Monday. Tesla stock surged 5.6% amid reports that President-elect Donald Trump could ease regulation on self-driving vehicles, Nvidia shares lost 1.3% on Monday underperforming market.

The Dollar strengthening has resumed currently. The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, ended 0.5% lower on Monday.

Both EUR/USD and GBP/USD reversed their retreating yesterday while euro area statistics service Eurostat reported euro zone goods trade surplus rose in September when a decline was expected. Pound and euro are lower against the dollar currently. USD/JPY joined AUD/USD’s accelerated climbing on Monday with the yen little changed against the Greenback currently and Australian dollar higher still.

Futures on three main US stock indexes are higher currently with the yield on benchmark 10-year Treasury down at 4.406%. US markets ended mixed on Monday as the three main stock benchmarks recorded daily returns in a range from -0.1% to 0.6% led by tech shares.

European stock indexes futures are up currently after indexes closed marginally lower on Monday with retail shares leading losses. Asian indexes futures are mixed today with Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index leading gains.

Brent is edging lower currently. Oil prices ended more than 3% higher yesterday on concerns over Norway output disruption after news that crude oil production at Norway's Johan Sverdrup oilfield had been halted. Supply concerns were also spurred by reports Kazakhstan's biggest oil field Tengiz, operated by U.S. major Chevron, has reduced oil output by 28%-30% due to ongoing repairs which were expected to be complete by Saturday, the country's energy ministry said. US West Texas Intermediate WTI ended 3.2% higher but is lower currently. Brent rose 3.2% to $73.30 a barrel on Monday.
